What is the Silver Fawn Club?
Since its inception in 1969, and its inauguration in 1970, the Silver Fawn Club has developed from a few expatriate Sri Lankan people getting together for parties and dances, into a fully-fledged incorporated body with a proud history of social and sports events mainly for the Sri Lankans but open to anyone interested in being part of this special community.
Why Join our Community?

Silver Fawn hosts both daytime and evening events which include a variety of foods, often Sri Lankan (but not limited to), for members to connect over and enjoy.
OUTDOOR CAMPS & PICNICS
We organise an annual camp and other outdoor gatherings, giving the opportunity for all club members and their children to connect through family-friendly activities.
What our members have to say...
I’d like to say a very huge thank you to the Silver Fawn for the fabulous high tea we all enjoyed. The tables were beautifully laid out with fine china tea sets, tea pots, plates and cake trays etc. All the food was so delicious and plentiful, savouries, sandwiches, cakes and sweets.... and for this I’d like to say thanks to all the wonderful chefs who gave of their time and efforts. I’ve been to many high teas in hotels etc but this was the best in food and service. The games and competitions added to the fun! It obviously took a lot of planning and coordination which all contributed to a superb function, and those who didn’t turn up certainly missed an awesome afternoon. Thanks again to all who helped make this happen.

We left the Silver Fawn Lake Perseverance Camp on Monday morning filled with gratitude and fond memories of the most amazing camp experience we had had. The food that was willingly cooked by the camp committee was exceptionally delicious and varied, and the activities were diverse and very engaging. We made new friends, and had a lot of fun in the process, and in particular want to thank each one of the 90+ attendees for making this an outstanding camp. Your energy, laughter and
enthusiasm made every day memorable, and the friendships that have thus grown will be cherished forever. I will also always remember the daringly amusing costumes that were paraded on fancy dress night, as well as the talented concert performers the next night. Your enthusiasm, camaraderie and good spirit made every moment special, so much so that I would willingly pay big money to attend shows of that calibre anywhere in the world.

My sincere thanks to the committee and helpers for a great NYE Party. The hall was beautifully decorated and well organised so we could all sit together. The food was delicious and plentiful. Russell Lowe played a fantastic midnight session and everyone was on the dance floor celebrating the New Year. Thank you to the committee for a fabulous evening we appreciate your dedication and hard work.
